Drawing inspiration from Deuteronomy 28:13, “The Lord will make you the head and not the tail,” and Psalm 20:7, “Some trust in chariots and some in horses, but we trust in the name of the Lord our God,” ANAGAPESIS invites you to trust in a higher power while embarking on this transformative journey.
At its core, ANAGAPESIS is more than just a fitness program. It is a holistic approach to revival and transformation. I have personally experienced the depths of darkness and the power of recovery, share my insights and wisdom gained from my own journey. Throughout the program, you will find a unique blend of bodybuilding-style lifting, HIIT, Crossfit combined with other various training approaches that Ashley believes in. These workouts have been carefully crafted to be adaptable, allowing you to participate with simple equipment options.
Each week, you will be challenged physically and mentally, pushing yourself to new heights. ANAGAPESIS goes beyond the physical realm, incorporating spiritual guidance from the Bible.
The author shares their experience of finding solace and hope through scripture, particularly in the book of Matthew. They encourage you to explore these verses, regardless of your background or familiarity with faith. But ANAGAPESIS isn’t just about faith; it’s about working on yourself from the inside out. I do talk about and emphasize the importance of seeking professional help when needed and share my own experiences with therapy and self-reflection. I believe that by peeling back the layers and exposing your soul, true transformation can occur. As you progress through the program, you will engage in a variety of workouts targeting different muscle groups.
From push-ups and barbell presses to deadlifts and squats, each exercise is carefully selected to challenge and strengthen your body. Core-focused exercises and additional movements will help you build a solid foundation of strength and stability.
